On Saturday 21st of August 2010 we completed last leg the Birmingham Greenway walk to celebrate the 30 anniversary of the City of Birmingham Group of the Ramblers
The Birmingham Ramblers are part of the Warwickshire Area of the Ramblers' Association, and, as all RA Groups, serves members who choose to join in its activities and/or promote its aims, by:
- Promoting walking
- Promoting access to open countryside
- Protecting the countryside
- Protecting footpaths
- Organising walks we trust members will enjoy

Everyone is welcome
BUT, Please, please, please, make sure you come well prepared for long walks (walking boots, warm clothes, cagoule and/or umbrella in case of bad weather, some food and something to drink (hot tea is good in winter), click for trouble-free rambling on:
Activities on our programme
- Sunday coach rambles
A choice of 9 to 10 and 12 to 14 miles, including frequent C-walk options (of approximately 7 miles)
- Saturday Walks for the Public
- Shorter Wednesday walks & special walks
- More demanding Saturday hill walks
- Social activities - many and varied

A full meal really !!
- 'Walk Days Out'
These combine a short walk in the morning with a visit to a tourist attraction in the afternoon.
